The project is a new university block at SATC, a traditional educational institution in Criciúma. It comprises approximately 4,500 m² spread across four floors, with a precast structure, that will house laboratories, meeting rooms and teaching spaces. A modern and functional space, designed to receive knowledge, innovation and thousands of people over the years.
An educational building is no ordinary building. It will concentrate an intense flow of students and teachers every day, moving through stairs, corridors and labs. That changes execution decisions: the spaces must withstand heavy, continuous use without losing comfort, and every construction detail will be tested in practice by a lot of people, for a long time.
What a university project demands from the construction site
Tight deadlines and a high level of demand. That is how this project came to us, and that is how it is run every day. In a building of this size you cannot resolve things through improvisation: the team holds alignment meetings within the project itself, sets schedules and evaluates each work front before moving forward.
The precast structure helps with this pace. The parts arrive ready to the site and are assembled in sequence, which brings speed and predictability compared to structures cast entirely on site. In June 2026, the keying was completed and the flooring installation was already underway. We keep moving forward.

Safety on every floor, without exception
A four-story project, with many fronts working at the same time, allows no carelessness. At SATC, EZA maintains the correct use of PPE, signage and collective protection on all floors. It is a routine enforced day to day, not a recommendation hung on the office wall.
There is a symbolism here that we like to remind our team of. The building will house the education of people, and that education begins with the way it is built. Safety is not a detail, it is a priority. Those who build for education must set the example right from the construction site.
Building where the city takes shape
EZA was born in Criciúma in 1991 and built its own history here, project by project. Raising a university block in the city carries a special weight: it means contributing to the place where part of the region's next generation of professionals will study.
